Well, just returned from a pretty intense run on the road, lots of driving, not much sleep, junk food, and late nights. Sometimes its hard and other days its brilliant and you aren’t sure why you do it. I guess really the only time I think that is when we still have to load out 5000 pounds of gear, in the lightning, after a four hour gig, in the 100 degree heat, with Blue Jeans on…and Andrew and I continued to remind each other that we love this..and we do …love it.
I’ve always heard and read that ,vibrationally ,Postive thoughts are much more powerful than a negative thought, so one really positive thought can wipe away all the negativity in your energy field. This reminds me of that movie Hook where Robin Williams is Peter Pan and he has to have one happy thought to fly and he cant do it for half the movie until he gets in a food fight.
Well by the end of this many thousand mile run, we were pretty tired and I think everyone was daydreaming about their own bed a little bit, which is all cool, but the second we opened the band and pulled up to the door at Callaghans in Mobile, AL and were greeted by JT, it changed. If we were lost boys (and maybe we are) We wouldve flew…the show was great (and most of them were) but every now and then a gig has a little extra magic on it and it did and the POINT of ALL was to say, we all were left driving home the next day…wishing we were driving to the next stop on the tour…but you can only be the places you are…so soon. Thanks everyone for the great run through AL and GA
Big Love, JS
